 AJR Clergy & Alumni Association (AJR CAA) hosted a reunion of its alumni on the occasion of The Academy's graduating it's 13th class of clergy and chaplains: a B'nei Mitzvah Shabbaton. The first three ordinees of The Academy attended and are pictured below: Rabbis Tzipi Gabbai, Alicia Magal and Miriam Hamrell.
AJR CAA is fulfilling its promise to be of value to its members. We offered a sacred community to celebrate Shabbat, we offered teachings from beloved faculty members, we offered teachings from our own alumni and a cabaret to celebrate the talents of our many gifted alumni. We hope to offer more opportunities for learning and continued spiritual support. We also provide ethical oversight for our professional members: rabbis, cantors and chaplains. AJR CAA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. All dues and donations directed to the organization are tax-free. Click "Join AJR CAA" above you will see that an online application process has been set up, complete with Paypal and credit card acceptance. The Web site also features: * A members-only section that requires a password, where you will find Forums to track and archive our conversations, and file storage for organization minutes and records. * A Members' Events blog, where we invite you to post links to your own parshanut, blogs, events, and goings on.
